Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank is expanding in Greater Indianapolis by opening two branches this spring..The branches, in Greenwood and Franklin, are Centier’s 10th and 11th in the region, with plans for more branches this year and in 2027. Greenland is southeast of central Indianapolis, while Franklin is 20 miles south of Indianapolis. In late 2024, Centier Bank opened a branch in the Indianapolis suburb of Brownsburg. The bank entered the Greater Indianapolis market in 2011 with a commercial LPO in Carmel and later established branches in Carmel, downtown Indianapolis, Westfield, Fishers, Whitestown and Zionsville, Ind. “We’re thrilled to grow our footprint south of the Greater Indianapolis area and bring Centier’s legendary service to two convenient locations in Greenwood and Franklin,” said Troy Kafka, Greater Indianapolis market president for the $9 billion Centier Bank. “We’re looking forward to opening our doors to clients to show them our hospitality-driven approach to banking to help them on their way to financial success.”
