Champaign, Ill.-based Busey Bank recently opened a 15,000-square-foot office in the Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale, Ariz. .The office, which opened Feb. 2, is Busey’s local headquarters, and is intended to build on the bank’s foundation it established in the region by acquiring Leawood, Kan.-based CrossFirst Bank for $916 million last year. “It provides our team with the space and resources to better serve our clients, strengthen relationships and expand our presence in a fast-growing market,” said Regional President Kevin Halloran. The bank also recently opened a branch in Cape Coral, Fla. The branch is the bank’s first permanent office in the community since Hurricane Ian devastated the area in 2022. Busey had been working from a traditional branch in Cape Coral.
