West Des Moines-based Bank Iowa plans to open a branch on June 2 in Clear Lake, Iowa..An open house and ribbon-cutting is slated for June 18. The branch, at 1919 U.S. Hwy. 19 in Clear Lake, will officially open June 2 and is the 24th branch the more than $2 billion bank has opened in the state. Bank Iowa recently opened a branch in the Des Moines suburb of Johnston, which President/CEO Jim Plagge said shows the bank’s commitment to urban and rural markets. “We’re excited about the potential of both new offices and our team’s ability to empower people, inspire success and foster growth in these exemplary Iowa communities,” Plagge said.
