Banker comes up short in U.S. Senate primary; bankers win primaries for legislator seats

Sid Dinsdale, president of Pinnacle Bank in Lincoln, Neb., came in second in yesterday's primary to select a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate. Ben Sasse, president of the Midland University of Fremont, Neb., easily won the primary with 109,810 votes, or 49.4 percent of the votes cast. Dinsdale garnered 49,817 votes, or 22.4 percent.
